The Retro World Series is the premiere name for classic gaming tournaments. From the first-time player to professionals, the Retro World Series offers the opportunity to experience classic gaming at its finest.
Who runs the Retro World Series?
How do you define 'retro'?
We know the argument over what is considered retro or classic will rage on for eons, but for the Retro World Series we define retro as cartridge-based games from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s.
Can I use my own controller?
No. All controllers will be provided. Please check each tournament to find out which controller will be used.
Why not *insert console* or *insert game*?
Each year will bring different games and, eventually, different consoles. We hope to add many more consoles such as the Neo Geo, Turbo Grafx/PC Engine, Nintendo 64, Colecovision, and Intellivision.
