Tournament Registration
- Username: You MUST register with your Challonge username. You username when using netplay software (e.g., Fightcade) and Discord MUST match your Challonge username.
- Software Testing Required: You MUST test all software—including netplay—at least 24 hours prior to the tournament with the Retro World Series or another registered player.
- Third-Party Software & Files: All software and files are hosted by third-party websites. Retro World Series does not host, control, or verify these files and cannot be held responsible for any viruses, malware, or other issues that may result from downloading or using them. Download and use at your own risk.
- Legal Ownership: Retro World Series does not own or distribute ROMs or game software. Players are responsible for ensuring they legally own the games they are using to participate in this tournament.
- Assumption of Risk & No Warranties: By downloading or using any third-party content, you assume all risks associated with it. All software is provided “as-is” with no guarantees regarding functionality, safety, or legality.
- Internet Connection: Wired connections are strongly recommended to reduce lag and connection issues.

Tournament Check In
- You can check-in as early as one hour before tournament start, but you MUST check-in no later than 10 minutes before tournament start.
- You MUST check-in on the Retro World Series Discord Server in the #tournament-check-in channel.
